Spread your wings and fly!

Artsy title considering I'm talking about a Pilot for a TV series I'm writing. It's nothing special and at the moment I'm not expecting it to go anywhere but I'm in dire need of practice with screenplay writing and style, much less editing my own work critically and productively so that's the reason why I undertook it. Plus I'm completely and hopelessly addicted to "Lost" now and "24" as always, so I'm trying to help cater some of my writing talents to spread to the arena of television. It's a different beast but I feel I could also fit well into this niche if I just exercise some of my creative muscles and get a feel for the world from this perspective. So I'll be sure to keep everyone (who cares) updated on how it goes!

Because I Can

So I'm just posting because of my involvement with a different blog. That's really all I have to say right now...I know, exciting.

Anchors Aweigh!

Well here goes nothing. The first in a long series of some meaningless and not so meaningless ramblings from me. I guess I'll start off with a little self-reflection. My name is Robert Kearney, and I am the founder of the fledgling Indepent Film Group Two Tons Productions. We're based in Tallahassee, and we're working on several projects of varying importance. Some are machinima (in the vein of Red Vs. Blue and other RoosterTeeth Productions) and some are live-action (In the vein of every other friggin' movie you've ever seen.) I'm currently attending post-secondary education at Florida State University, working on my writing, and a little on acting and even some musical stuff thrown in there. All in all, I'll have a few cinematic projects under my belt come my graduation from this place. As it stands, I'm working on starting up the Two Tons website (we have a Facebook group, but it's restricted to those participating in the crew.) In the meantime I'll keep the world informed as to my machinations in the world of cinematic expression here.
